UCEA CONFERENCE 2009
Information on the upcoming 2009 Conference will be posted as it becomes available.
For your information:
1. Beginning next year, only association "members" will be included on future e-mail distribution lists. If you can't come to the winter conference, but still wish to be included in the association membership and support the association, you must still register and pay the $50 annual dues. This applies to "active" and "associate" members alike.
2. We will again be looking for help from the "private sector" for conference sponsorship assistance. Sponsorships can be $250 (partial sponsor) or $500 (full sponsor).
Please let the UCEA Treasurer know if you are willing to help.

3. This year, conference attendees will receive a nice UCEA briefcase as part of the conference registration and fee. It is imperative that you register early to be included in the briefcase count. If you are concerned that your registration may not be completed in a timely manner and you are certain that you will be coming to the conference, send an e-mail to Tracy Allen and you will be added to the list.
4. As has been mentioned previously, the UCEA Board is sponsoring a UCEA Photo Contest this year. Just for fun, we are looking for photographs of strange, funny, unique or “less than satisfactory” construction or public works activities from around Utah. The specific incident will not be labeled or identified in any fashion, so you can submit photos from your own city. The photo must be from a source with which you have been involved or of which you have personal knowledge. Please do not send photos from the Internet. Judging will be done by the conference attendees and there will be cash prizes for first, second and third place finishers. Get out and look around and e-mail your digital image to me at Tracy Allen.
